VoidSea is FUNDED!
Well… that was a thrilling start to our voyage. Thanks for getting us off to an incredible start! We’re all so humbled, adrenaline-fueled, and sleep-deprived... But then again, we are ever so grateful for your amazing support, so thanks again to all Early Bird Pirates out there!
Our journey on the VoidSea has only just begun, yaarrrrrrrr!
4 Stretch Goals Unlocked, Many More Incoming!
Let’s talk about the first 4 stretch goals already hit, and what's on the horizon.
$50K Stretch Goal: Rigging Monkey Rogue
We chose to put the Rogue subclass as our first Stretch Goal because we knew we could reach it, but we didn't think you guys would crush it SO QUICKLY! In less than 15 minutes, the goal was already unlocked. It's insane!
For what it does, we wish we could share any info... But these slippery Rogues keep getting away, the damn bilgerats!
$100K Stretch Goal: New STL - Pingvi Rogue
Exactly 1 hour into the Kickstarter campaign, you guys crushed yet another goal: this time, a new Mini STL! We've had a few passing mentions of the Pingvi: penguin folk that reside in the Voidsea... and this is one of them! This guy will automatically be added to the Digital Deluxe and All-In tiers, as well as the Digital Asset Bundle!
$200K Stretch Goal: New Library & Accessory Box Upgrade - GM Cheat Sheets
We keep picking up speed with every Stretch Goal unlocked! This time, we got an upgrade to the Library tier and above, as well as in every Adventure Box: GM Cheat Sheets! These handy notes will help you track down Kaiju monster's Chaos Thresholds and Vulnerable Areas, Ship stats and abilities, and much more!
$300K Stretch Goal: Magnétanque STL!
Just 4 hours after the Kickstarter launch, and we already got to the $300k Stretch Goal, how crazy is that! This is another Mini STL, just like the Pingvi Rogue, but for a completely new creature: The Magnétanque! The statblock for this guy will be a part of the Bestiary for Voidsea, as yet another strange creature you might find while exploring another island!
Next Goal, $400K! New Playable Species: Cthulkin
I'd say we're still a good distance away from this one, but you won't stop surprising me, so who knows! If we reach this Stretch Goal, we will add another playable species: The Cthulkin! Are they mutated humanoids, or is there something otherworldly going on? The Chaos Choir might have something to do with that!
And don't worry! We still got plenty more loot to share with yous, so stay aboard and follow us on this crazy journey across these eldritch waters!
Naval Mechanic Alpha Playtest - with Naval Perks!
Thaaaaat's right, we're not done yet! We have just added an extra freebie for you to check out: the VoidSea Alpha Naval Mechanics!If you want to know how to play with our Dual Theatre System works, how to command the ship as a united crew, or even specialize your work with Naval Perks, this is the time to try it out!
The party will have to work together to man their ship during the Ship Phase, Maneuvering through dangerous areas... or Ramming against an enemy ship! You can be a Captain shouting out orders at the crew, an Artillerist preparing a heavy barrage of cannon fire, or even the Helmsman making sure the boat doesn't sink!
Playtest is essential this early into the system's development, and your feedback is invaluable for us to make the best out of this! Make sure to give the system a spin, and then let us know how it went, what could be improved, and any suggestions you might have!
Project we Love just launched on Kickstarter: Elemental Dragons!
